Offering this lovely example of a vintage ARP axe Made in England by Perks and dated 1940. You can just make out the top of the Perks logo and some of the remaining letters and the word Defiant shown in Close ups.
There is a couple of small marks and knocks to the wooden handle shown in the last two photos, I am being very critical as this is from the 1940's so is expected, please view all photos.

This tool has only had a light polish using a quality hard wax.
