Lovely vintage wooden box with metal banding which was used to store art supplies and brushes. It has thick layers of paint all inside the box and paint spots around the outside of the box as shown in the photos and close ups, which adds to the character.
It has a brass lock (no key) and brass clasp to keep the lock in place again shown in close ups.
