A large, highly original, and decorative pine blanket box painted in its original scumble glaze as shown.
The blanket box has retained its original hinges, handles, lock (no top clasp as shown) and most of its original paint finish although, as one might imagine, there are time-worn scuffs and marks from well over one hundred years of use.
A very useful and versatile piece of furniture that could be used for various purposes around the home.

In lovely condition with general marks to the top due to age and use. No key. Small nick to the corner a shown in close ups. It sits on castors ( one odd castor)
