Offering this fantastic antique quality made, galvanised log bin as shown. This one has the original makers brass badge as shown. Made by Arkinstall Bros Galvanisers and manufacturers based in Milk St. Birmingham.
"The firm relinquished the Milk St site around 1907 and work was concentrated on the Coventry St one" so this is a very old example.
This is a very heavy, sturdy item with a nice aged look to it , especially the hinges and the lock , which just enhance the item . This would make a statement piece as a Log store / Basket, or even as a garden planter. It has air holes to the base as shown. Lid sits slightly raised to the corners being critical. General marks and light dents as this is an antique used bin, the best example we have had. Lovely rivets throughout. Please view all photos and close up for condition.
